Level III Course Kayak

Level of advanced maneuvers and competence in the control of the kayak.

Temary:

•Cross bow / bow rudder.
The candidate has to be able to turn the kayak using these rudders and edging.

• Stern rudder.
The candidate has to be able to maintain/change the direction of the kayak using the stern rudder.

• Hight brace in both sides.
The candidate must be able to recover the position once verticality has been lost with the use of high support.

• Braced turns.
The candidate have to be able to make a turn using the low brace.
The candidate have to be able to make a turn using the low brace

• Self rescue from stern / cowboy
The candidate have to be able to come back into the kayak without any other help that the paddle.

Objetive:
The candidate has to demonstrate proficiency in the contents of the course and must be able to:
• Maneuver the kayak using the fore/aft rudders efficiently using the entire blade.
the shovel and singing.
• Make turns with supports losing verticality and maintaining balance.
• Self-rescue.

Duration: 3 hours
Certification: Level 3 recreational sea kayak
Condiciones: Flat water surface.
Learning Stage: Cognitive and associative level.
